What are some of your favorite parts about being an independent Salesforce expert?

I love having flexibility in choosing the work I do, how it gets done, and how much I want to work. Life is a perishable good. We only live once and there’s more to life than just working. This freedom gives me the time and headspace to dive into other ideas and passions I have. For example, I created this card game that merges the agile coaching work I do and my love for board games. It aims to help teams inspect, adapt, and have a laugh!

How does working with 10K let you focus on the work you love?

The 10K expert experience is quite ‘boutique’ because the projects I’m offered are tailored specifically to my skills and interests. It doesn’t get more bespoke than that for both the expert and the customer. 

This focus helps me excel and deliver value while giving me back precious time to work on my other inventions and interests such as the Agile mindset coaching. In fact, I was able to publish my first-ever book in 2020, “Becoming more Agile whilst delivering Salesforce” which has undoubtedly been one of the highlights of my career. I hope it helps scale the message and “hows” of Agile across the Trailblazer community, helping us find joy in what we do every day. 

Why do you like being part of the 10K Community?

I feel like I’m in good company with like-minded people that are an extension of the Trailblazer community. We all care about driving the ecosystem forward. 10K’s on-demand model, compared to traditional consultancies, also helps us provide better Salesforce value sooner, safer, and happier!
